100 Important Exam Vocabulary Words

Words 1–50 (Part 1). Don't just read this list — say every word out loud, then use it in your own sentence. Swap it into something you'd normally say more simply. Come back to it weekly: recognition fades fast without repetition.

Study tip: Learn the meaning, remember the synonym, and revise these high-frequency words regularly. Try grouping today's words by theme — for example, words about doubt (skeptical, dubious, ambiguous) or words about calm (serene, placid, tranquil) — grouping related words helps them stick better than memorizing in isolation.
